Ableism is an unquestionable type of discrimination against individuals who have disabilities. Ableists often believe they are superior to disabled people because of certain physical or mental advantages they may have, which creates toxicity and breeds hate. They may also believe disabled people are less than normal people or that they need "fixing", when in reality disabled people are usually much smarter and more mature than ableists. While racism, ageism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination get a lot of attention, ableism should also be fought against just as much. Ableist behaviors can include, but are not limited to, not allowing disabled children to attend normal schools, lack of accommodation for disabled individuals in facilities and public areas, mocking and humiliating people with disabilities, and intentionally excluding those with disabilities by conducting certain physical activities that they cannot participate in.
